Candidate terms
How Anthology Solutions Inc. represents you for an opportunity, what you agree to when you apply, and what we commit to in return.
Applying is free
Anthology never charges candidates a fee to apply, to be represented, or to be placed.
Right to Represent
Some openings ask you to accept a Right to Represent acknowledgment when you apply. It means Anthology is the only firm that will submit you for that specific position with that client for the stated period (currently six months), and that you will not submit yourself for the same position directly or through another firm during that time.
Before we submit your profile anywhere, we will tell you who the client is, confirm the engagement type and rate with you, and ask you to sign a Right to Represent Agreement for that specific position. We never submit your profile without your approval.
The Right to Represent covers one position only. It is not a non-compete: it does not stop you from pursuing other jobs, and it does not stop you from working with the same client after the period ends.
How you would be engaged
If a client selects you, Anthology sends you a written offer. Depending on what we agree, you are engaged either:
- as a W-2 employee of Anthology (including where Anthology sponsors or maintains your work authorization); or
- through your own company under a corp-to-corp subcontractor agreement between Anthology and your company.
You are not an employee of the end client.
Screening
Some clients require background checks or drug tests. Where required, these happen only after a conditional offer, with a separate written disclosure and your authorization, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and state and local fair-chance laws. Where California law applies, we do not test for non-psychoactive cannabis metabolites or make decisions based on lawful off-duty cannabis use, except as the law permits.
We ask whether you are authorized to work in the United States and whether you will need sponsorship. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or identity documents during the application; those are collected only when required after an offer (for example, Form I-9).
Confidential client information
We may share non-public details about a client, such as its identity, contacts, and rates, so you can decide whether to proceed. Please keep them confidential and use them only for the opportunity we presented.
Your rights
Nothing in our agreements limits your right to report possible violations of law to a government agency, to take part in an investigation, to make disclosures protected by whistleblower laws, or to discuss harassment, discrimination, or other unlawful conduct in the workplace.
Anthology is an equal opportunity employer. We consider candidates without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship status where protected, or any other characteristic protected by law. If you need an accommodation to apply, email hr@anthology.ooo.
How we handle your information is described in our applicant privacy notice (Privacy Policy, "Applicant Privacy Notice").
This page is a plain-English summary for convenience. It is not a contract and does not change any signed agreement; if they differ, the signed agreement controls. Full agreements are provided on request and before any engagement.
