SAP SD Consultant

This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, but remote candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Job Summary:

Anthology Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules to meet the business requirements of our clients. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of SAP SD processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and configure SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules according to client requirements.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements, and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
3. Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate end-users on SAP SD functionalities and best practices.
4. Customize SAP SD functionalities to align with the specific business needs of clients.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD module, providing timely and effective solutions.
6. Collaborate with other SAP functional consultants to integrate SD module with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO) and third-party systems.
7. Stay updated with the latest SAP releases and industry trends to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
8. Assist in data migration and support data cleansing activities related to SAP SD module.
9. Conduct testing, create test cases, and perform system testing to ensure successful implementation and smooth operation.
10. Support post-implementation activities, including user training, system monitoring, and addressing user queries.

Minimum Requirements: 

Anthology Solutions Inc hires only those candidates that possess at a minimum of bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field.

Preferred Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an SAP SD Consultant, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP SD modules.
3. Strong understanding of SAP SD business processes, including but not limited to: Sales Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, and Credit Management.
4. Experience in configuring and customizing SAP SD functionalities to meet unique business requirements.
5. Proficient in conducting workshops, preparing functional specifications, and documenting process flows.
6. Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO) and third-party systems.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes to propose efficient solutions.
9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. SAP SD certification is a plus but not mandatory.
